I would be happy to design and create a special piece of art for you! Contact me with your idea, and I will work with you to create a piece that is personal and unique. I can custom tailor a similar artwork from any of my painting collections to other sizes and colors to suit your space. I will work with you throughout the entire process and guarantee your satisfaction completely. Pricing is based on the size of the painting and approximately how much time it will take to complete. I am happy to work creatively with you and your budget to create a custom, one-of-a-kind painting just for you!
PROCESS: After we work out the details of your special project, I create a 50% deposit listing for you to purchase, then begin work. When the painting is complete, I email pictures for your approval, and can make any necessary changes at that point. One complimentary revision is included in the quoted cost - further changes can be made at an additional charge. Upon final approval, I bill the remaining 50% & shipping, then varnish and ship your painting.
CUSTOMIZATION: I can design artwork for a specific location, and you are welcome to send photos of your room and even color swatches if an exact match is needed. Many options are available, from flat panels that are easily framed, to deeper pieces that hang frameless for a clean look.
pically ready between 1 to 3 months depending on the size and amount of details involved. If you have a deadline, let me know and I can usually meet your timeframe, as long as communication is quick. I can guarantee a completion date, but please bear in mind that postal delays are beyond my control after I have shipped your painting.
COST for each project varies, based on your specifications. You can expect a quote comparable to that of similar completed works, though custom projects do require more time.
PORTRAITS of people and most wildlife, pets, and farmed animals: The estimates below are base rates for a single paint on plain background. Your project will be quoted individually based on the photos you provide.
4x4" --- $50-60
5x7 / 6x6 --- $100-150
8x10 / 8x8 / 6x12 --- $150-250
11x14 / 12x12 / 10x20 --- $250-350
16x20 / 18x24 --- $350-500
24x36 / +custom --- $500+
REFERENCE PHOTOS must accurately represent the colors and be clear, sharp, and large enough to view details appropriate for the art size. Working with blurry, inaccurate, or multiple images requires more time and cost. I can take reference photos if you are in the Calgary area - minimum charge is $50 for a 15-20 minute shoot, and a minimum project total of $250.
