I can say this one was probably one of the funnest hikes I have ever done so far! Loved Mt. Cory! It was all perfect, the weather, the company, the challenge, the hike and the mountain views were amazing! I regret not taking my camera this time... Thankful to our awesome organizer M.JC and friends for some of these amazing shots! Mount Cory is located just to the northwest of Banff. Two interesting features distinguish Cory Mountain, a 300 meter vertical groove on its southwest face and a cool cave, also on the southwestern flank known as “Hole in the Wall”. The views from the top through the summit are just amazing. With some hands on scrambling. This hike made for a pretty fun day out with alpine meadows along the way filled with very pretty colorful wild flowers. Elevation: 2801m Round Trip Distance: About 10.2km Total Elevation gain: 1670m Ascent Time: About 5hrs
